Is Ultron still Alive ?

Everyone who is a die hard fan of Marvel comics, would agree with me on the fact that Ultron is one of the most unique, badass and reoccurring villain in the comics. For those who don’t know who Ultron is, he is basically a super artificial intelligence created by Hank Pym in the comics and created by Tony Stark and Bruce Banner in 2015’s live action movie ‘Avengers: Age of Ultron’. Though it was defeated by the Avengers in the end of the movie, but since then it is constantly in rumors that this character may return in the future movies of MCU. Let’s discuss how this may be possible.
Is Ultron still Alive ?
In the movie Ultron was created in order to protect the world and humanity from any threat that appears on them. But instead of this, we saw that Ultron turned against humans and his opinion was that the world can only be safe when humanity vanishes from Earth. To make it possible, Ultron build a dynamic bomb from Vibranium and planted in the fictional city Sokovia in order to recreate the level of explosion which vanished the dinosaurs. And after humanity vanishes off earth, Ultron wanted to create a world full of robots which will have no weaknesses and needs like humans. But thanks to the Avengers, they somehow managed to defeat the insane robot and all its traces by the end of the movie with the help of ‘Vision’ which was made by Ultron and modified by Tony Stark, and consists of the consciousness of Jarvis.
But after almost one and a half year after this event, we got to see the traces of this character in 2017’s ‘Spiderman: Homecoming’. As we know Ultron is a major reoccurring villain in the comics, and hence it sounds a little weird that MCU will end this character’s story at once. In ‘Spiderman: Homecoming’ Adrian (aka Vulture) initially worked as the Damage Control and collected all the leftovers of the Avengers’ famous battles. But after being thrown out of his job, he decided to use the leftovers he has collected in order to earn money by transforming them into dangerous weapons and selling it to the underworld. The leftovers he collected included the Chitauri tech, Dark elf grenades and especially, Sokovia’s battle leftovers which included various remains of Ultron too. We got to see this when Peter discovers an Ultron head while searching for evidence against vulture.
This hints us that if Vulture had Ultron’s remains then it is also possible that he has sold many of them to the potential buyers and may be one of them tries to recreate Ultron in the future, because Tony himself told us in ‘Age of Ultron’ that if a single piece of Ultron remains active, then he can eventually recreate himself again.
There’s another proof to my point that Ultron can reappear in the future, and that is ‘Wakanda’. Since ‘Black Panther’ movie of 2018, we have seen how immensely scientific this place is in terms of its technology and development. This place is something which every science geek would love to visit. At the end of the ‘Black Panther’ movie, T’Challa declared that Wakanda will open its gates for the world, and also help the world by sharing its technologies. Now just imagine if Ultron somehow survived ‘Age of Ultron’ and he now also knows about Wakanda, then what he might do when he gets his hands on the Wakandan tech.
Again if Ultron appears again in the future, then there will be no Tony Stark or Vision to stop him, as we have seen both die at the end of the Infinity Saga. The only potential threat to Ultron will be Shuri, T’Challa’s sister and an extraordinary science genius.
