Venom vs Hulk

Definitely Venom is one of the most badass supervillains of the Marvel comics today. Originally introduced as an anti-hero of Spiderman, Venom has managed to grow its reach throughout its comic book journey. For those who don’t know about Venom, it’s a symbiote from outer space which needs a host in order to function on planet Earth. In return, Venom provides enormous strength, durability and many other functions to its host. Since its debut in the comics, Venom has bonded himself with many other characters, including some super cool characters like Spiderman, Wolverine and Captain America.

On the Other hand we have the Incredible Hulk, one of the most powerful characters of the entire Marvel universe. It is not possible that you are here, reading this post, and you have no idea who Hulk is. So basically, we can say that Hulk is the humanized gamma reactor of the Marvel universe, whose strength increases with the increase in his rage.

So now let’s take the cases of three different but popular Hulks from the comics and movies and compare it to the Venom symbiote, and find out whether the symbiote manages to take control over the Hulk or the Hulk manages to kick his butt.

Case 1 : The Incredible Hulk

This is the most common version of Hulk that we all have encountered. This is basically the normal version of Hulk that we have seen in many different comic books and also in the MCU movies till Avengers Endgame. The Incredible Hulk gets triggered whenever Bruce Banner gets angry or his emotions get intense.

Now if we compare the Incredible Hulk with Venom, then we’ll find that the Incredible Hulk has a mind full of rage, which makes him somewhat immune to mind control, but on the other hand, this version of Hulk is mindless and childish, which is advantageous for venom to take over him. Even there is an event in the comics where Venom tried to take control over the Hulk, and it almost managed to take over him, until Spiderman interfered and diverted Venom’s attention.

Finally, we can say that Venom will get an upper hand if it goes one on one with the Incredible Hulk. This is because no matter how angry the Hulk gets, if Venom somehow manages to take over Hulk’s body then the rage of Hulk will turn as an advantage for Venom. Hence, in this ‘Venom vs Incredible Hulk’ case, Venom is the clear winner.

Case 2 : Professor Hulk

This is the version of Hulk that we have seen in Avengers Endgame. Not just professor Hulk, but in this case we will include almost every version of Hulk which is comparatively more calm and smart as compared to the regular Hulk. So basically, professor Hulk is the combination of the personalities of Bruce Banner and Hulk, which is done so that both of them could work cooperatively. This version of Hulk is more smart and calm as compared to the regular Incredible Hulk, but also, this Hulk is a lot weaker in terms of his strength and durability as compared to the regular Hulk.

Now if we put this version of Hulk in one on one situation with the Venom symbiote, then we’ll find that although Professor Hulk is a lot smarter than the previous Hulk, but his strength is not as that much as compared to the previous one. In one situation, Venom can take advantage of Professor Hulk’s lessened strength, whereas in some other situation, Professor Hulk can prohibit venom from taking control over him because of his increased consciousness.

Finally, we can say that if the case is ‘Venom vs Professor Hulk’, then it will be a tie under normal circumstances, but one of them can also get an upper hand depending on the circumstances of their fight.

Case 3 : World Breaker Hulk

Among all the version of Hulks that we have seen in the comics, this version of Hulk is the strongest one in terms of strength and durability. The World Breaker Hulk is the highest potential form of the regular Hulk. The strength of this Hulk is approximately five times more than the regular Hulk, and he does have a better active consciousness as compared to the regular Hulk. He is so much powerful that once he almost defeated all the characters of the Marvel universe alone, until Sentry used his full potential to stop him.

Now if this version of Hulk takes on the Venom symbiote then it will be a purely one sided match. Since the World Breaker Hulk is much more powerful than the Regular Hulk, hence we can say that this version of Hulk can easily tear apart the Venom symbiote into micro pieces with just one blow.

Finally, we can say that the result of ‘Venom vs World Breaker hulk’ will be purely one sided. As the World Breaker Hulk managed to defeat many legendary characters of the Marvel universe alone, so it will not be wrong to conclude that there is no match between Venom and the World Breaker Hulk.
