10) Young Avengers
According to this rumor, it is being said that we will be introduced to a brand new team of Avengers in the Phase 5 of MCU, which will consist of all the young superheroes of MCU.
This rumor started spreading when Marvel introduced its future movies on young characters like Ms. Marvel, She Hulk and Kate Bishop. Also, we have witnessed a teenage Harley Keener in the funeral of Tony Stark. Additionally, we have kids of superheroes like Cassie Lang and Morgan Stark who can come forward and take their father’s mantle. Recently, Mark Ruffalo also said it in an interview that in the future he wants Professor Hulk to be the trainer of the Young Avengers.
9) Joss Whedon and X-Men
According to this rumor, director Joss Whedon was approached by MCU in order to direct the first X-Men movie of MCU. This rumor started spreading so fast because this rumor came directly from some internal and trusted sources.
Joss was the director and writer of the Avengers movie of 2012 which introduced the Avengers team to audience. Also, Joss has written some X-Men comics scripts for Marvel in the past which makes him X-Men expert director.
8) Deadpool in MCU
This rumor seems so obvious because the rights of Deadpool and X-Men are back to MCU again after the Disney-Fox deal.
But according to this rumor, Deadpool is going to be the only character who will not be rebooted in the Marvel Universe and Ryan Reynolds will continue his Deadpool timeline in the MCU, and after some years it will get connected to the main MCU storyline. Now this will be interesting to watch how MCU fits Deadpool in their major storylines.
7) Secret Wars
According to this rumor, MCU is now going to follow the Secret Wars storyline from the comics since the Infinity Saga is over.
It is being said that all this will begin with Avengers 5, which is still not confirmed. In the comics, this storyline features far more character together than that we have seen in Avengers Endgame, where all the super teams like Avengers, X-Men and Fantastic Four are involved.
6) Namor in MCU
This is one of the most spread rumor after Avengers Endgame. This is because of a scene in Avengers Endgame in which Okoye mentioned about an earthquake in the ocean floor near Wakanda, after which fans started assuming that this was a direct reference to Atlantis whose king is Namor, and ultimately this was a hint for Namor’s entry in the MCU.
Also, Black Panther and Namor had a very popular and bitter rivalry in the past as shown in the Marvel comics. Hence this is highly possible that Black Panther 2 will directly follow this storyline from the comics where Black Panther will face Namor.
If we take a look at the past, then both Wakanda and Atlantis were hinted in Iron man 2’s ending scene. Wakanda has been introduced already, hence Atlantis will also be introduced soon.
5) Winter Guard
This rumor started spreading not after Avengers Endgame, but after the release of the trailer for Black Widow movie, where we got to see Red Guardian for the first time in the MCU.

4) Winter Soldier Hulk
We have seen in Avengers Endgame that when Professor Hulk snapped and brought back the vanished people, his right arm got severely damaged. Later in the final battle, we also got to see that his injured right arm was completely useless and paralyzed from the effects of the snap.
Hence, according to this rumor, in some future MCU movie, we will see Professor Hulk getting a prosthetic arm as a replacement for his paralyzed arm, just like we have seen in the case of Bucky Barnes aka the Winter Soldier.
3) Galactus in MCU
Introduction of Galactus in the MCU is also one of the major rumors after Avengers Endgame.
According to this rumor, Marvel is planning to introduce Galactus as a major villain in its Phase 5, and Galactus’ story will be continued till Phase 7 or 8, just like what we have seen in case of Thanos. If Thanos was the mad Titan, then Galactus is a cosmic giant. Hence, he also needs almost ten to eleven years for his set up.
2) Iron Man’s Return
Every MCU fan wishes for this rumor to come true. After some days after Avengers Endgame where we witnessed Tony Stark’s death, this rumor started spreading blindly. This was because of an interview where Robert Downey Jr. was asked about his return and he said “Never say never”.
This rumor got more stronger after Robert Downey Jr.’s movie ‘Doctor Dolittle’, which was Robert’s first project after leaving MCU, resulted as a flop worldwide.
After this incident, again Robert said in an interview that he can return to the MCU, but for that he requires a great storyline where his return can seem iconic.
1) Spiderman & Sinister Six
Finally, we have the rumor which is the most popular one and with the most possibilities. So according to this rumor, we will see the Sinister Six assembling together against Spiderman in the third movie of the Spiderman franchise. This rumor started long ago when Spiderman: Homecoming was released, where we saw three villains Vulture, Shocker and Scorpion (end credits) after which fans started imagining that we will definitely get a Sinister Six movie somewhere in the future.
This rumor became more strong after Morbius’ trailer was released where we saw Adrian aka Vulture in the ending scene, which made it more clear that Sony and Marvel are definitely planning a Sinister Six movie.
